Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

Hi everyone, this is my first post, I've been browsing through the boards for a couple of weeks now and love looking at everyone's SAL's and have picked up a few tricks as well (for instance, the existence of q-snaps!). So I thought I would start one of my own.

I just recently picked up stitching (I inherited all of the patterns as well as some finished angels from my grandmother) so this is only my second bigger project. My first was the Angel of Hope by Lavender and Lace:



The one I'm working on now is called Angel of Winter, also by Lavender and Lace.



Here's what I have so far:






I'm going to add all the beads (first time doing beads) and the fuzzy thread at the end since I don't think it would survive the washing/ironing so well.

Anyway, just thought I would share!

Great start and welcome to the forum. I just started q-snaps too and they are great. I learned about them here also. Love your first angel and this one is already looking very pretty.

So glad you decided to stop lurking and share your beautiful work. I too love the L&L angels and have done 1 many years ago and have 3 others in my stash to do.
