I'm looking for tattoo inspired charts and wonder if anyone can help; I can't afford the magazines as working as a volunteer teaching assistant. Many thanks.

i stitched that one and loooved the way it turned out!
i passed my chart on to someone though so I don't have it anymore..

Theres also a book out of stitch charts based on Ed Hardy designs. Its pretty new so probably not in a secondhand bookstore yet- but might be in a library, or used from Amazon. I check stitch books out from my library all the time.

You might also try looking at blackwork which is often tribal/swirly in nature.

Indeed, I have done some blackwork and loved it.
