what a surprise
I came across a bag of magazines while having a sort out
and found a Joan Elliot cross stitch book
"Cross stitch Sentiments and Sayings"
then I found a photocopy of one of the charts which I had been coloured in a lot
then the memory flooded back
to just after I got married in 2007
I bought this book especially for this chart and I started to make it in secret for my Kev
(big softie) to hang in our bedroom!
then in some tissue paper I found the actual work i had started,
it's over 2 / 3rds completed, I had totally forgotten about it,
I cant remember why I didnt finish it back in 2007
but I showed it to kev and now he is insisting i finish it for him, so being a good wife
I have put it onto my frame and started to work it
here's a photo of it in the book followed by a WIP photo

oh how cute is this

I am just finding it hard to understand how i could have completely forgotten about this lovely chart and work
thank goodness I bought a magnify glass its in 14 count but feels tiny after my 11 count WIP!!! LOL
