I am new to the forum, so please forgive me if this has been asked (and answered!) already..
I am keen to use my own designs as cross stitch patterns but assume I would need some sort of converting software..
I have seen there are a few available and am at a loss as to which is the best, or a tried and tested one.
If anyone has any info on this, I would be very grateful.

If you take a quick peek at the top of this section you will see a thread named "Pattern Making Programs" there are reviews from members about the programs that they use and how well they like them.
We also have a very talented member that will convert your photos for you if you are unsure of your own talent. Look in the Trade/Sale Section for more information from Skitzzzzz

Skitzzzzz is definitely the one to go with. She is very cheap and is so helpful and friendly. Just see her post in the trade and sell section. If you look in my gallery she made me the chart for my Aerosmith concert picture and I am currently doing another one she made me of my grandparent in the SAL.
