Sampler of Many Bands - Finished 9/15/11

Hi all - this isn't really a stitch a-long since I finished it on the 15th of Sept but thought I would share. This is The Sampler of Many Bands by Sekas & Co that I stitched for a class at my LNS. It was my first attempt at a drawn thread piece - I've done a bit of hardanger but never a drawn or pulled thread piece. It was really fun! We all picked such different colors, it was cool to see them all work up...

that is beautiful. It has a very woven feel to it also. And the colors you picked are so pretty.

This is soo lovely congrats on trying pulled/drawn work, it looks really effective

Thank you everyone - yes, I'm very lucky to have such a great LNS nearby. It's almost an hour's drive away, so I don't get there as often as I'd like to, but that's probably a good thing for my bank account, lol...
Oh, and Raine - you should move back to Portland, you have the perfect name to be living here!
