Ok everyone.... I haven't posted any progress pics of what I have been working on for quite awhile. Currently I am working on a pattern that I purchased from
http://www.patternsonline.com" target="_blank that is a map of Idaho for my hubby's christmas present. He knows what I am working on b/c I am HORRIBLE at keeping secrets.
Here is a link to what I am working on
http://www.patternsonline.com/Patterns/Pat.aspx?P=7986" target="_blank
I promise to post a update pic of where I am currently at later today. I changed the fabric to 18 ct Dirty Aida. I am loving how this color make the pattern just pop!
I will also post some pics of what I have been working on and finished.

Very cool! They even have Connecticut.. and they list my hometown on it!!! I guess it pays to be the submarine capital of the world.. I can't wait to see pics of how Idaho is developing

Reason I am doing Idaho is that my hubby grew up there in Boise.... gonna have to do Georgia too (bet you can't guess why!) and Florida b/c his parents have a condo in St. Augustine.... gonna have to add that one to the map

This is what I have been working on this year and finished:
Scenic Farm scene, this took 14 months and I am giving it to my dad

some close ups:

Here is the last of the 3 chickens I did for my mom:

Eeyore that I did for myself, needed to do something different and it stitched up super quick! (still needs to be ironed

)

Tigger watercolor thats not quite finished b/c I ran out of green and needed a break from the backstitching

I am going to do a Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore that is the same type!

Wonderful projects. The farm scene is going to be one fantastic gift for your dad. Chickens and Pooh characters are great also. And the map is looking good. I like the fabric. It really is a great background for your map. You have been really busy and have great things to show for it.

I like the fabric that you picted for the map. It looks like and old fashed map. Lie what Lewis and Clark would have used!!!!!
