I am doing this too but from my experience last year, I am changing how I am doing the Crazy January Challenge. Also I have so many family birthdays to stitch for that I need to focus on the gifts, stitch a bit on my challenge, then back to the gifts until I am done. I have 3 January birthdays to stitch for..... 1 in Feb, 2 in March, a break in April, 5 in May, 2 in June,....a break, then 2 in Oct, 1 in Nov and 4 in Dec on top of Christmas gifts for all members of our family...... If I feel overwhelmed, then I go shopping at the store for gifts, especially for those that has requested electronic games.

The camera I use for photos is not working for some reason, so no pictures.
However, I have my projects for both the first and second started (on their respective days).
Jan 1: Love isn't always black & white from the book, "Count the Ways to Say I Love You in Cross Stitch"
Jan 2: Teresa Wentzler's Egyptian Sampler
Didn't get much done on either.
Love isn't because I was getting tired of the black/white excess, and Egypt because it's my first time ever using linen and it's driving me crazy!

I have thirteen squares left to do on my afghan once I finish the one I'm doing, so if I add the HAED SAL and the chart for a friend that Skitzz did for me and start them all by the 15th would that count?

Have just started gridding fabric for both the 3rd and 4th days... been busy with other things. D:
---
Day 3: Cherish Your Dreams (CSG 83)
Day 4: Year in Stitches (CSC 134)
---
My camera is officially broke, by the by... will try to take pictures using my mp3 player, but doubt they'll turn out that great.

Day 5: Butterflies & Buddleia Needle Case (kit; got it as a stashmas gift!)
Day 6: Christmas Gathering (chart)
-
Still no pictures. Tried with mp3 but... horrible quality. D:
Camera got fixed but since I was borrowing it from my mother, she decided to keep it... So unless I can talk her into letting me borrow it again, who knows when I'll ever get pictures.
-
Update on Egyptian sampler: ended up restarting this one, switching over to 18ct aida. Just couldn't stand the linen.

Rose wrote:Wow that is beautiful but it is going to be alot of white, grey, grey and more grey. Good Luck!!!!!!
That is very true. I believe there are only about 20 colours used in the design total. Surprisingly no white (excluding the fabric) though there's about 6 different shades of grey, and aside from some yellow/gold/cream, everything else are shades of blue.,.. it also seems to be majority half-cross versus actual cross stitch which should make it go a bit faster than norm... right?
I think this other design is by the same artist, but just a smaller/bit revised version:
Wildlife in White.
And he also did yet another, larger design:
Northern Dignity.
