You're obviously a very quick learner, that second back looks great, and your stitching is very neat :applesauce: !

:applesauce: :applesauce: You have made a wonderful first project. I always say the back is the back for a reason and as long as you don't have huge rats nests back there don't worry about it.

Hope to see your finish soon and then a new start on the big project!!!!!! :D

That's looking great for a first attempt. Like others have said, you're a very quick learner and are very neat!! One word of warning though, cross stitching is HUGELY addictive, it can take over your life :ratherbe:  You can get great therapy here though, so don't worry!! Welcome to the forum :D

Great work so far! There's a definite improvement on the 2nd pansy, so you're catching on remarkably fast. My first one didn't look that good, that's for sure. Nice job! :applesauce:

Your stitching is lovely and even and your 2nd pansy is great both back and front.

As has been said, it is a very addictive craft - in the nicest way possible and we always love to help be it problems, stash buying ideas - just in case you run out - and all sorts of things.

:applesauce: for completing the pansies. only the stems and leaves left. I think the difference on the right hand pansy is that the shades of the threads are very close (closer than the picture on the kit). I have always done a 3/4 by going from the middle to the corner and then doing the 1/2 stitch. I would think doing it the way that is most comfortable for you is what counts. I never thought of doing it the way your book describes, but that would work also.
Have you thought about what project you will do next?

I do 3/4 stitches the way you say the book says, I find they look sharper and neater but ultimately it's totally up to you how you choose to do them!

You are doing a fab job, and you are now in for it. I hope you have a spare room for all the stash you are about to accumulate...
