Lizzie*Kate, art of ageing ABC finished!

Doing this one for my mum's birthday, her 65th. She's away for a week so I'm frantically stitching! The floss came with the chart minus the green, for which I'm using some Waterlillies instead. Nice natural linen 28 ct fabric, 2 over 2.

My progress, today and another few hours recently when I had some space!

That is a great chart and you are doing a great job. this is a chart I ought to get a hold of. I have several friends who will be turning 65 in a year or so and this would be a great gift. Thanks to the forum I have discovered Lizzie Kate and have a few of her charts already for gifts. As if I needed more. But I love this one. I am so looking forward to your updates.

I love this chart! My mom turns 60 in July, think this would be a great gift for her.

I just bought the Lizzie Kate kit that is similar to that one, "ABC's of Parenting". Since we are expecting our 2nd daughter in April I think it is an appropriate kit for me to do!

Yes I love these charts, I have the dog owner one as well, or is it the cat? One of them anyway!!! The parenting one would be a great birth present for new parents.

:applesauce: great progress. :applesauce: Are you using the fabric and thread that came with the kit? I found the kit on 123 stitch and it looks like it uses silk threads. I don't usually do kits, but am thinking this would be a good way to introduce myself to silk and linen (which I only tried once before, years ago and couldn't do diddly squat, but now I have lots of "helpers"). For some reason (my age?) I really love this one and think it might be a good way to learn.
