This is my very first HAED! I'm making this for my 10 year old niece, who is completely girly girly. I chose to use 28 count lugana, 1 over 1 full x's.

That is lovely. Your niece is so lucky and I think you will have fun stitching it also. There are so many pretty designs inside of it with the flowers and butterflies. I love her eyes too. I will be watching for your updates.

Thanks, everyone! It's been a little tedious, with only using 3 colors, all shades of purple, but I'm trucking along. These HAED's are something else. I'm looking forward to starting another design I bought from them during the most recent sale!

I must be one of the slowest stitchers ever. I can't believe this is the only progress I've made in a month. I'm almost done with page 1, but sadly it's not a regular page. I downloaded the larger sized pattern. Anywho, here's where I am:

progress is progress is progress. You are doing a great job. All that purple is awesome. and the design is starting to show also. I think you should be pleased with what you have done. Everyone's stitching is at a different pace and mine varies from design to design. I love this one and will be looking forward to your updates. Will you be rotating to a different one after you finish the page or are you planning to stick with it for a while. A respite from the purple might be nice, then again, it is hard to leave great designs when you get on a roll.

Each stitch counts - it doesn't matter how fast you stitch them! Great progress and I love the colours in this design!

I'm not sure what I'll do, and you said exactly what I was thinking. I'm seeing progress, so I want to keep going, and I love purple, but it's nice to work on something else too. I work on a certain project every night. So, if I end up getting page 1 done early enough, I'll move on to page 2 right away.
