Well, I've gathered everything to start stiching the first couple of square of my Disney afghan, but I bought the Kinkade Beauty and the Beast kit and couldn't resist starting. (I'm secretly telling myself that this is because I want to wait until I have absolutely everything to start on the afghan, but that would be a lie ).
I should mention that this is my first time using gridlines and the Q-Snap, but it's working out well so far (other than that I forgot to skip a row at the beginning so what looks like the last row of 10 is actually the 11th on the pattern...oops).

your start on this one looks good . I did the same thing as you with the first chart I gridded and got used to it so all of mine are like that now. It doesn't matter as long as you know which is the first row and which is the last row in the square. I tried to correct it on the next one I did, but it was way too confusing so that is the way I grid my fabrics now.

Great start! I had the same problem with my lines being somewhat off, but further down I realized that I couldn't count and I have an extra line between my grid lines. Welps..off to go pack mine up for work and work on it for a bit..
