No, really. What I was trying to do was start my 2012 HAED BB SAL piece, Lovers. Since I have the full size chart, I wanted to just do the same section from my full size chart that they used for the quick stitch SAL piece because I wanted to stitch the entire man and woman all the way down to the bottom after the SAL was over. As I was stitching last night, I realized that the QS piece was charted larger and if I stitched it from my chart, mine would be considerably smaller. I didn't think that would fly with the bulletin board mods, so I decided to go ahead and stitch the whole thing, or at least the right side now. Not sure if I will stitch the peacock side or not as I also have him as a QS chart by himself... So now I have another full size HAED on the go. Will post a first pic a bit later... I have to say, I definitely like the charting of the faces on the full size chart a lot better than the QS chart. But I'll have to make a start on the QS piece as well and make at least some progress on it, enough to post pics in order to get the rest of the charts.

Considering how addictive HAED pieces seem to be, I highly doubt that this was "accidental."

Are you doing the same chart twice? Once as the QS for the SAL and then a full sized chart also? Which you thought you could do the QS and then finish the full size chart around it after the SAL? I haven't looked at the full sized one or do you mean the full size QS chart, because the freebie charts are still smaller versions of the regular QS charts, arent' they? I think Bookend Kitties is. Does any of this make sense? I don't think it matters but I hope you aren't going to wait too long to post your progress picture because I am sure it is going to be lovely.

Yes Dana - but you have just finished one so I am sure it is allowed.......! Interesting to hear about the difference in charting between the BAP and the QS - typical as that would have been a brilliant idea to stitch the QS and add to it later! Look forward to the pics.....!

I knew that the QS and BAP charts wouldn't match up, so I thought I could take the first page of the QS and mark the equivilant area off on my BAP chart and stitch it from that. However, my "first page" was only about 50 stitches wide, whereas, the QS first page that was sent out is 80 stitches wide. So my image is much smaller.

I will start the QS version as well, but only stitch enough to get my required number of pictures on the BB so I make sure to get the rest of the charts. Who knows, maybe I'll complete it and give it as a gift to someone...

And it really was an accident - I love Nene Thomas charts but this isn't my favorite of hers and I would have started a different one instead had I been consciously choosing which one to start. But, that being said, I am loving this chart so far and their faces are exquisite... This is my first HAED that I haven't started with the top left page.

I have bought a couple of HAEDs I've never done one before I keep looking at it as I REALLY want to start it but also want to complete the project I'm doing at the moment I don't think it'll be long before I too accidently start
