Eeek!! I'm so excited to post this!! I got started on this mammoth project last night, March 8, 2012.

Here is what she'll look like eventually (i.e. 10 years from now! lol!)

I am starting in the centre. It's how I've done all my projects and made the most sense to me. I laid out the entire chart, found the centre, highlighted the squares, then got started. I've never used a frame to stitch with, so I'm finding it a bit difficult once the thread gets really short, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Such a beautiful project. I will certainly look forward to seeing more of this one!!

You will get used to the frame - in fact so used to it that you may find you never go back to stitching without one! Good start! I always start in the middle as well, and was wondering if you could with a HAED...

so exciting. All new starts are exciting. I hope you will do lots of updates so we can cheer you on. I really like this pattern. It will be interesting to see the design emerge as you stitch.

Aw.. thanks everyone!! I can't wait to get home to get to work on it. Though, I did find that after about an hour my eyes were starting to hurt. The squares are a lot smaller than what I'm used to.

I also started the Warm and Fuzzy kitten a few days ago, so i will make another post about that one! I've never had 3 projects on the go before! lol!

You started! Good luck with it, really hope you enjoy it like so many of us ended up enjoying HAED stitching, and am looking forward to your updates!
