twin pointed needles?

I use them for beading. You get used to them quickly. Depending on tension you may need a thimble, I do, to push them through sometimes.

Yes, I can see needing to use a thimble (is that a lost art?)
When I first saw these I thought "Great, DOUBLE the way to poke myself & bleed all over the work!"

I tried them when they first came out but they just don't agree with me at all LOL

This subject has come up a few times and the general reply seems to be they are ok but they do not increase speed in anyway. Also they seem to saw the thread and so if you use a longer thread it will cut them.

I've never used on...got one as a freebie on a magazine.

I think they need careful handling as the 'eye' is central and can break easily.
