I started this kit tonight. I'm stitching it as a birthday gift for my uncle. It may e a bit late as his birthday is in the first week of July, but it isn't a huge chart so we'll see!

I didn't realize when I bought it, but the wheel is a charm! It's so cute! Lol

And this is where I am as a start! It's the upper right water area, or will be haha

The lighting is kind of off its really a beige color fabric, not orangey

Great start!! I'll watch this with interest as I have Dimensions Gold Petite design about a third done, I was struggling with the different symbols for different number of threads. It drove me mad to be honest!!

I hope you don't and I shall be inspired!

Looks like most of they sky and the upper left detail is half stitches so that will go by quick!

great start. You have a lucky uncle. And if the background is a lot of 1/2 stitches, as Faith said, it will go by quick. You have a good chance of meeting your goal.

Thanks everyone it's nice to have a break from my HAEDs for a while. I miss the gratification of finishing smaller projects lol

I am working on this design as well. But I don't have the same time pressure as you plus I am a slow stitcher so you will finish before me I am sure. Enjoy the pattern, I know I have been.

oh I love this and lighthouses in general (I have one I started last week), it should grow pretty quickly and reckon think your Uncle will love it too.
