Well I was lucky to have Squirrel offer me this pattern! I received it on Friday afternoon and managed to raid my stash to get all the supplies to start her. I think she will be a good sister piece to my Christmas Angel. Here is a picture of her:

I did the purple today and started on the green but used the wrong color so had to frog it all out

I seem to collect Joan Elliott patterns I think I have about 10 of them I want to do!

Beautiful start to a beautiful design. You can already see the lovely folds in her skirt. The colors are stunning. You have really gotten a lot done in a very short time. I can't wait for your next update.

Great start! I'm with you on Joan's designs. I've got about 3 or 4 of her designs sitting around waiting to be stitched - and that doesn't include the ones in magazines.

Thank you everyone for your kind words! I have to say I love the colors as well they are just so vibrant! I am also very addicted to this cross stitching and can't seem to put it down! It is pretty much all I do all day Who says chores need to be done right away...

Anywho here is another update I love the presents the photo doesn't do them much justice. I plan on working on the tree tomorrow or do the pillow and arm area.

The presents are lovely. You are making great progress. This one is going to be finished in no time at all.
