Does anyone do Quilling, I had a dryad kit when I was a teenager and loved creating things, but have not done it for about 15 years, I have recently bought some new books and quilling papers but have not made anything great yet, I have made two cards in the past year, am hoping to make a start on some Christmas cards, I bought a great Christmas quilling book which has given me some inspiration.

I'm sorry I don't, but I'm glad you asked the question since I had never heard of quilling and just read about it. Sounds like a very interesting art form. Is this something you can do without hurting your shoulder?

It is something I can do to give my shoulder a rest think I will have another gander at the books tonight, I may have one finished by christmas  Why do I pick such time consuming hobbies :D

I have had a bit of a dabble with qulling and really enjoyed doing it. Nothing to show unfortunately. I look forward to seeing what you do with it. :D

I have always admired it. A neighbour in one place I lived in did a lot of it - she wasn't able to get about much - and I loved watching her do it but too fiddly for me.

You have the time before Christmas to have a play with it all again and as you say it can give your shoulder a rest - hopefully.

You might think by looking at my bookcase that I do quilling, but I haven't tried it yet! Looking at my bookcase, you'd probably realise that I'm better at collecting books and crafts than getting around to doing any

Quilling seems to be making a big comeback, if my local show was any indication. Lots of prizes awarded for quilled pieces.

Maybe you are right about that, as I saw my general craftstore started selling supplies also.

Thanks! I'm quite fond of it but gave it away. Can you believe that took me about two hours to make? I thought it would never be finished but I do love it. I paid extra money to have it hand stamped at the post office because I didn't want it to be damaged in transit.
