I've just finished this:
I really enjoyed it, lots of beads, different stitches and all done on paper! I'm amazed I managed to keep the corners flat and all of it clean!!
I bought the frame for £1.99 in a charity shop! Perfect colour I think.
I hope my friend will like it

hopefully I will get my motivation back for Miracle horses!!!

This is really pretty. Great work and I am impressed with how neat it is. working on paper must have required a fair bit of gentle handling.

That is lovely and so original. I don't think I have ever seen one done on paper. I am amazed that you were able to keep it so neat and clean and unwrinkled. I can't imagine working on that type of "fabric". I know your friends are going to love it.

There are a lot in this series on Sewandso, I've bought another of a cockerel for another friend. I wouldn't want to do one every day, but as a break from confetti and plain stitching they are a nice diversion!

WOW that is awesome and done on paper too. Love all the buttons and beads too.

Gorgeous work
How was it to work on paper, I have seen several kits recently done on paper but didn't want to try it.

Working on paper is ok, you just have to be careful not to be too rough with it, but it's pretty sturdy, more like light card than paper. Keeping it clean is important. I did find that working with 6 strands on it was tough for my wrist as you need a bit more pull than with fabric, but that was the only real negative.
