So I started this about 2 weeks ago. It's going to be a Christmas present for my aunt. Last year, I did a kitty one and she absolutely loved it and will brag about it (as she points to it hanging on her wall) to anyone who comes into the house lol. She recently got a new dog, and even though this puppy doesn't look like her dog, I'm sure she'll still love it.
It's a kit, called "I Didn't Do It" by Bucilla. It's on 18ct aida. I've already completed one half of it (backstitch and all).
So enough talk...here it is....

How are you managing with the chart??? I had problems with the Bucilla one I did recently.

Chart's rather difficult to read at times due to the TINY symbols for the 1/4 and 3/4 stitches. The shaded area that connects the two pages doesn't do well with the shaded symbols for the 3/4 stitches. Some of the backstitch "symbols" on the chart block out the symbol underneath for the cross-stitch. And the fabric? Very hard to get those 1/4 and 3/4 stitches in correctly. And on the curtain, where the flower pattern is, the chart missed a couple of backstitches that were on the original pattern. The flowers are in a pattern, and they have the backstitches the same, but they missed a spot.

But otherwise, it's not too hard of a chart, and certainly not the hardest or most frustrating one I've done.

If it has anything to do with a dog, I LOVE it!!! Very nice work, too. Hopefully you will be done with the dark blue very soon!

The dog is so cute!! That is a lot of dark blue; no wonder you're sick of seeing it!
