So I've decided to do a unicorn for a friend of mine as a present. I've been looking for some good, but quick-to-do/small patterns, but have only found this one...

I'm not looking to pay for the pattern, as it's just a small present that will also be framed, and I'd rather put the money into framing.
I've thought about creating one with a pattern program that I have, but it doesn't show what the finished product will look like, so I'm skeptical to use it on a present for a friend.
Any suggestions?
