Anyone know of where I can find a pattern that is mostly stiched using black and white floss? Like a landscape or flowers. Have done some searching and seem to only find people or animals. I want to do a cross stitch for my bedroom to match my black and white quilt cover. Thanks in advance.

Look for blackwork - that is a type of stitching that only generally uses black on white.

Not sure how large or detailed of a design you want to stitch, but I did a Yahoo search on Black and White Cross Stitch and found several nice ones (I liked) on eBay thru stitchingaddiction's "store". This link will take you to the B & W Rose:

While there, be sure to also check out the B&W Dogwood, B&W Gerbera Daisies, and under the landscapes - Tree in Winter & Twisted Tree.
If you're looking for something with some color in it, try Lilies Black & White by Mystic Stitch at 1-2-3 Stitch.
Hope this helps - Good luck & I hope you can find something.

Also google Silhouettes I have a whole book of those and they have some nice scenes in there. The designer is Adele Welsby.

I think several of Alessandra Adelaide's patterns would look great in grayscale. I stitched "Coffee" and altered the colors (there were only 3) without a problem. They're a little more glamorous than solid silhouettes, and I found several trees and floral designs.

Her blog actually has several patterns tagged "monochrome" as well, with several floral designs on page 2.

Good luck!
