So this has been a idea that I've had for a few years and have only just now started to get things rolling. Early this year or last fall I started to kit some of this up. Now I've got a few skeins of each to get me through all my charts. My charts are the Stitch A Stars from the Cross Stitcher magazine, that I used to buy. In total I think that I've picked out about 15-20 that I like. It's so perfect cause all of them are the same size and they are all in sepia tones, and they dont take long to stitch. Then when they're all done they will each have their own frame and have their own wall too.
Seems like the last time I done one for someone it only took a weekend. But it's longer than that. For me; about a week or two off and on. I've been camping lately so I've had no distractions.
Now without further interruptions I present the piece I'm working on now; James Dean! These pictures are from this last week.

Good start and a clever idea for the wall. Looking forward to your next update.

My stitching spree has finally come to an end. Going back home tonight (only an hour flight) and will be spending the weekend relaxing playing the new World of Warcraft expansion yay! Then back to work for six days on Monday.
These ones always amaze me that with a few stitches and a very few colours you can produce a very good likeness of all sorts of different people. It almost shouldn't be possible but it works every time. Looking forward to your wall of fame.
