Hello, I would like to make some cards to some of my students for good performance. Do you happen to know a card pattern which say "congratulations", and has something to do with school?
Two of my students have just come at 3rd and 10th place at a national competition. It was in Electronics - I don't think there is a cross stitch pattern to do with electronics, do you?
Could you help me find with some idea - I can draw my own patter, I am just at a loss what to put on it.
Thanks
Agi

Could you perhaps draw one of those schematic electronic circuits, you know with a circle with a cross in it for a light bulb and symbols for batteries and switches, and then you could stitch their name in the centre of it, with perhaps the place they reached? You could get an example from any physics textbook and as it is schematic it should be quite easy to convert into cross stitch and backstitch.
Yeah, I know - I started with google, too... I will try to come up with something - may be it will be alright to use a little pattern of a book or something like that... with some little stars...

This is what I could come up with. What do you think?
I plan to add some sparkling stars around the circuit diagram at the top. Just didn't know how to draw them in PCStitch.

Oh I love that!
Being the 'I adore metallics' queen I was thinking you could do the electrical parts in silver or copper threads too (depending on what they are).
but whether you decide to do that or not, the circuit diagram is fabulous!

What a great design. And if you do use metallics for the contacts and so on, it will be (if possible) even more fun. Beads might be a bit too feminine for chaps (if any of the winners were guys, of course), although it is another really good idea to jazz it up.
