Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

So far I have mostly stitched large pieces from kits, but I want to cross stitch a card for a friend's wedding. I have some ideas, but how does everyone else go about 'marrying' the Aida and cardstock, so to speak?

I know there have been a few times that this subject comes up and I think maybe we should put up a sticky thread for it.

Anyway there are all different ideas and everyone has a favorite.

I personally use hot glue in very small amounts and attach my stitching that way. Others use double sided tape, or those dots that scrapbookers use. There isalso a fabric glue that would probably work.

I use either a craft/scrapbooking glue or double sided tape to attach stitching to cards. It is easy to do and the glue dries well with no reside or colour to mess things up.
