HAED QS vs full pattern - what's the difference?

Good morning all - Can someone with experience with HAED "Quick Stitches" advise on how the QS designs compare to a piece of the full chart?
I am considering doing a detail of Minerva's face from "Minerva's Melody" by Josephine Wall - I have the full chart in stash. There is a QS version on offer - my question is whether I should shell out to buy the QS version or just crop the bit I want out of the full chart?
I looked on the HAED BB FAQ and they say this, which doesn't really let you know *how* they are different. More detailed? Or just a cheaper way of getting a piece of a design when you don't want the whole thing?
Advice much appreciated. Thanks!

The QS and full designs can be seen here: http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index. ... rd=Minerva" target="_blank" target="_blankAre quick stitches (qs) and storykeeps (sk) just cropped down versions of the original pattern?
No. Quick stitches and storykeeps are re-chartings of the original pattern, so they will not stitch up the same as the original pattern. It is possible to decide for yourself that you only want to stitch a certain portion of a full sized chart you have bought, thereby creating your own quick stitch, but if you buy a quick stitch or a storykeep, the charting of it will be different from the original chart.
Advice much appreciated. Thanks!
