Whatever, I just love happy news. If nothing else it is all sounding happy and loving and hopeful!! I haven't seen this many smiles on the news media, probably since their wedding. I am enjoying it. Congratulations to all of you in the UK. And thank you to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for making this a happy news day!

I'm thrilled to hear he's a BIG boy! Congrats to them!

Great to know it finally arrived and that both mum and baby are well.

I'm delighted both because it seems all has gone so well and because the media was/and hopefully still is so cheerful for once. It is really good to be able to be happy about an event without being assaulted from every media angle by doom and gloom and criticism.

What a joyful day for the Duke and Duchess, and all of our UK friends. Congratulations on your new little prince.

I'm not that bothered tbh, but I'm glad it all went well.

A lot of bad news was buried yesterday and today as well. While its nice to have good news for once, there is also a very cynical move by our government to bury news such as the Atos review etc under it all which is very sad.

It's sad that we can't just enjoy good news for once! Imagine if the news reported good stuff as well as the bad, maybe it would make the world a nicer place.

Fizzbw-what is more scary is the fact that the media is ALLOWING such manipulation of the government....THAT REALLY SCARES THE SOCKS OFF OF ME. (What's it called? "The 3rd establishment"?....in any case IT used to be the ULTIMATE authority to our government...because they would tell the VOTERS & the voters would kick their sorry you-know-whats to the curb)

With all the doom and gloom we are always bombarded with on a daily basis, it's lovely to have a day of good and happy news for once.

I extend my heartiest Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son and future king.

Good coverage on a collection of royal names. Toss "Arthur" into the mix.
King Arthur has a good ring to it!
So nice to have a new baby for us in the Commonwealth.

Right.. its been a while since you've had a Phillip, Henry or James.

My mom is rooting for Arthur.. she loves Camelot.
My dad threw in Thomas.

Some say it could be Albert

I would like to see Arthur cause there hasn't been one since Camelot. Or something really brand new, like Michael or David but I seriously doubt that would happen. I wonder what they are calling him now besides baby Cambridge.
