Project Finish/Why I haven't been here

Hi all,
I've only been on this forum for a bit, but I haven't been here at all the last month or so...and the reason is Uni has started up again and I'm swamped! I'm in my (hopefully) second last semester of my Bachelor of Arts degree, and as an English major, there is sooo much reading to do. (If not for my glasses, my eyes would be falling out about now!) So apologies for vanishing, and I'll try to post occasionally!
Anyway, here is a project I finished in my first week on Uni before it got hectic. It's a black and tan dachshund, like my fur baby Toby (and appropriately labelled as such.
Here's one of Toby's happy face. He's a handsome boy (maybe I'm a little biased):
(For the photography nerds out there, shot this on my Canon 40 DSLR on manual mode at the local oval).

That is a lovely stitch pattern and he looks very much like Toby. Your Toby is a very handsome boy, from an unbiased observer!!!!!

Thanks, everyone. Don't let that smile fool you though. Toby's pretty mischievous, and his adventures often involve eating things he shouldn't! Such as the kitten's food, any human food he can reach, and once being left in the house, finding a mustard bottle on the table, and eating the entire thing, plastic and all!! Lol (He got rushed to the vet, but was fine.)

Hi there, its been quite some time since I visited this forum, and I just happened across your cute dog Toby..I have a little mischievous dog too,he is a dappled miniature dashound..(Baxter)I loved the part that you mentioned that he found the mustard bottle on the kitchen table and ate everything in it as well as the container. It sounds like he loves food as much as Baxter..he is always around where the food is and you would think he's never fed,the way he crys! But I absolutely adore him..he is great company ,along with my other dog, a cockerspaniel. His name is Whisky...They are the best of friends....

No, you're right, he's definitely handsome
Don't worry the study doesn't last forever and you will miss it when it ends lol
Best of luck with the degree.

I love the stitching, and the real Toby even more. Dachshunds are pretty mischievous. My friend had one who would get on the back of the couch and pull my hair scrunchies out and run away with them.

He's beautiful both in stitches and in photography!
Good luck with all the reading -- try and enjoy it as well as doing it for "work"
