Here's the progress as of yesterday on my biggest piece so far, which will hopefully look like this when I'm finished:
http://www.stitchtastic.com/product/har ... h-kit.aspx" target="_blank" target="_blank

I had to opt for 3 strands for the blue as I just wasn't happy with the coverage of 2, but 2 has been fine for the red... Oh well, all part of the learning process I guess!

Ah that's lovely. I have a ginger tom cat. He's full of character - a bit like Garfield.

Great start! :applesauce: I don't know why different colored threads are so different in thickness, but have heard that it is because of the dying process. DMC 310 (black) is notorious for being thin. Your coverage looks great. Can't wait to see the ginger cat!

Just having a browse of how you are all getting on and thought its probably time to update with the progress I've made too!

The stitchy bug seems to come in fits and starts and it does seem that some evenings all I am doing is unpicking... I had to :ribbit: about 100 stitches last night (red at the bottom) due to starting in a completely random place :tantrum:
