To be honest I didn't think I was able to stitch a HAED as I'd dabbled in it for a few years but never got anywhere, which was very frustrating. So I've jumped into stitching a mini to prove to myself I can do this!

This is the link to the design: http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/index. ... ts_id=9441
and this is my progress:

I've worked along the top in half pages (I enlarge each page so one page fits on 2 A4 sheets of paper), and I've stitched the whole width of the design here.
The chart is quite challenging for a mini as there isn't much block stitching and it's all isolated stitches in varying shades of blue/grey.
It's stitched on 20 count Bellana and I'm trying tent stitching with this one, 3 strands over one. I wanted to try tent stitching just to see what it's like for any future projects. I love the speed of it because what I've done so far is just one weeks worth of stitching.
I'll probably slow down a bit now as I'm nearing the start of the fairy and I'm feeling itchy for a new start too, I would love to try to stitch a much bigger HAED.
