...and I won! With postage it comes out to be half what a new one from sew&so charges, assuming it's the silver grey one. It comes with the corner clamp, and the ad says it needs a bolt for the base. Hope I can find something that works, and that I love it as much as you guys. :D

I like to browse ebay and it is fun to see how many of my hints are used :)

btw, if you cannot find an appropriate bolt, you can always solve the problem putting something underneath the stand with a hole in the middle to accommodation the bolt they are giving you ;-)

You might want to contact coleshillaccessories.co.uk, it is possible that they could sell you the bolt separately

Haven't decided how i feel about it yet...it's taking some getting used to. I can't get my project close enough to me and still have facing me. maybe the arm of the couch is in the way, idk.

It does take a bit of getting used to.

Lowery do a longer bar for the arm to accommodate sofa arms etc so that would probably help getting it positioned properly

Until recently I had never even though of putting my clamp on the lower corner, Mine has always been on the top - how do you find it for turning the lever to alter the angle with the clamp that way up?

It's ok with the clamp on the bottom, but seems easier to work with clamped on the top so it's all out of the way of my hands.

I've never used a Lowery stand, but with the stand I have, I often have to put pillows behind my back to move me closer to the frame. I think any stand takes some getting used to, finding the right placement and position.

That's what i'm going to try next. Oh, and the bolt on the bottom doesn't seem to be an issue like the seller said it was. Happy Happy
