Just joined the group after browsing around for a while. I'm located in the UK and am a compulsive starter  Soooo my 1st ever New Years resolution is to complete all my WIP by the end of 2014, I'm not committing to not starting anything new as that would be a step too far :tantrum:

I've been stitching for over 20 years and still take considerable pleasure in my craft and have a stash that I couldn't possibly complete in 2 life times, never mind 1  much to my husbands dismay.

I generally complete mid size designs, but rotate these with smaller designs. I have a few charts that incorporate hardanger, so this is something I would like to learn. I currently stitch cross stitch and counted thread work especially using silk threads.

I have just completed Lizzie*Kate Mystery stitch and thoroughly enjoyed this so have signed for the frosty cottages mystery stitch.

My WIP that I'm going to complete are
Dimensions Gold - In Harmony
Aero to aqua - this has been a WIP for over 10years.
Mirabillia- sisters of the deep blue. Only started this summer.

Anyway, looking forward to participating in the group and will try and up load one pictures of my work.

 Hello Annie and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! We have several serial starters here (not me  ) I hope that you will post pics of your work whatever size it is. If you've been browsing around here you know that we love pictures! This thread,Posting Pictures into a Thread explains how to post a picture. We also have an increasing number of Hardanger stitchers here also. I have just learned how this year because of a wonderful SAL by one of our members. Trying new things is one of the best features of this forum. Be warned, however, that stash accumulation is also one of our favorite pastimes

 everyone and thanks for the warm welcome. I notice that quite a few people have several WIP listed, so I don't feel that guilty now.. I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.

 Hi Annie and Welcome from bright and sunny Brisbane, its lovely to have you on board.

We are on the eve of the last of the monthly SAL for the Song of the Weather hardanger lessons but I believe it is going to be still available if you want to learn about it. MAbel's instructions are so easy to follow and it is such fun and so quick to do too. :D

Welcome to the forum from Colorado. It sounds like you will fit in perfectly here...and you can assure your husband you are not the only one who has far too many projects and far too much stash. (Wait, I take that back...there is no such thing as too much stash!)

I hope you'll share pictures of your work...we do love pictures here.

Only been here a short time, but already love this site, you are all very welcoming and are a very active group. I'll keep my eye open for the next Hardanger SAL and will certainly join in with that.

My stash has just grow as I've ordered the Home and Garden booklet for the hardanger house I spotted on this site

Good job I've got a supportive husband, he just  when he knows I've bought something else.

I should really go to the Confessions of a Cross Stitcher thread, cos if he only knew :thinks:

Welcome from Ontario! I am also guilty of having startitis and so many charts that I will need three life times to finish them all but that doesn't stop me from adding more to my stash :D
