This is Nora Corbett's Emerald Dragonfly. I've only been working on this for a week so still lots to go.

Great progress! Shiny thread is tricky to work with when you're new to cross stitch, but you're doing a great job!

:applesauce: :applesauce: That is really a great start to a lovely design and I love the colours which are coming into it. Very neat and even stitching. How brave of you to start off on linen, it took me many ++++ years to stitch on anything but aida.

Beautiful update.

Thanks everyone :)

I'm not finding the kreinik thread as tricky as I thought which is good. I just ordered the fabric that was recommended on the chart so had no idea what it would be like, I'm having to do a lot of re counting and it really makes my eyes go funny!

Lucy.

A good light and a magnifier can easy the "funny eye" syndrome. :-) I use both when stitching on the higher count fabrics and I think a lot of others here do the same.

Thank you for all the kind comments. I borrowed a magnifier lamp and it really helped, so thanks for the great idea.

I managed to get a bit more time on this one at the weekend.
