Hi!
I don't know if anyone here remembers me. I was a member a while ago but then for all sorts of "too much going on" reasons I went on hiatus a bit, from stitching, from the forum, from other parts of life while I got things in order.
I've still been stitching while I've been away, to be honest though for about the last year I've just been working on wedding and anniversary samplers - mostly for other people - and very little for myself (well, a wedding sampler for me, but it turned out to be a real pain to stitch...although very pretty in the end!)
I'm now back to just doing things that I want to do, with the occasional gift for whichever family member has worked out that bambi eyes work very well on me. I'm currently working on a HAED (which hasn't seen the light of day for over a year and is now moving forward) and also planning my nephew's third birthday present - he is 19 months old now - and future gifts for my husband and brother-in-law. They might both get theirs for Christmas 2015 or something. I'm trying not to put short deadlines on myself any more.

Lovely to have you back with us and I hope you can keep to not putting deadlines on yourself. Its not good for ones health.

I need to make some sympathy cards right now - it's been a really crazy 24 hours - but will get HAED pictures up soon I promise! As ever it doesn't feel like I've made a lot of progress, but that's what happens with big projects...
