Hello fellow stitchers!

I'm new to this forum, although I've been doing cross-stitch for about ten years. My kits so far have all been DMC/Dimensions, though, and I'm currently attempting my first Bucilla. I'm working on Kit #45304, which is the "Lullaby Friends" baby blanket. I'm confused by the stitch chart - it's got three different symbols representing cross stitch, which all appear to be different stitches. I understand how to execute each stitch, but I don't know which symbols go with which stitch. Can anyone familiar with Bucilla patterns help me out? I've included a shot of the pattern below. If I understand your question correctly, it looks like you're talking about the difference between a full cross, a quarter cross and a three-quarter cross. Looking at the pattern key, Yellow, for example, would look like this in the chart:


The top stitch would be a full cross in Yellow, the middle stitch would be a quarter cross in Yellow and the bottom stitch would be a three-quarter stitch in Yellow. The quarter stitch and the three-quarter stitch would be done in the corner in which the symbol appears. In the example, that would be the lower right corner of the 'square.'

Thanks for your response - I wasn't sure based on the chart which should be a quarter, and which should be a three quarter. That was actually printed on the pattern itself. I think I'm set!
