Best sales on DMC?

It's been awhile since I've needed to stock on DMC, but it is time. I know that JoAnn's sometimes runs sales- it used to be 5 for a $1, but I doubt that has been the case for some time. It might be 3 or 4 for a $1 now. I will not shop at Hobby Lobby and I don't know if Michael's even carries floss anymore.

Or are there any reputable online shops that will sell in larger lots? Just thought I'd check! Thanks everyone!

I think I read somewhere that Joanne's has a sale on floss. I would check online to see if that's current or not. There are usually coupons available. Michaels does carry floss also. At least the ones in my area all do. Not a lot of other cross stitch supplies, though some. Though they do have all the DMC colors, they are often out of stock for some. Again, that is how it is in my area. Walmart has also started carrying DMC floss again, but only some of the colors. I like 123Stitch as a very reliable resource, and I imagine you can order as many skeins as you need from them. The price is a bit higher than the big box stores and there is a shipping charge. If you have an AC Moore craft store near you, they also have a complete selection of DMC floss.

The best prices are when the stores run a coupon for a large percent off your entire purchase. That's usually better than the sales, but it only happens a few times a year.

I didn't see this in time to respond, but Black Friday was a great day to buy DMC floss in store in the US so Americans should keep that in mind for future years. Michaels had a coupon for 40% off regular price on your entire purchase from noon-8 pm, and DMC qualified as it wasn't on sale (normal price 39 cents), so it was 23.4 cents each with the coupon. AC Moore had the exact same situation and pricing as Michaels except their coupon was 7-noon.

On Saturday 7-noon, Joann's had it on sale 3 for 99 cents (regular price is 40 cents), and then a 20% off both regular and sale prices coupon, making it 26.4 cents each with the coupon.
