using this tutorialhttp://alteredobsession.blogspot.com/20 ... orial.html

i made:

Image

i used a menu/flyer from a pizza place and a department store ad..

great way to recycle. I will be making more of these with actual paper for scrapbooking..if i want matching ones.
you can make tube beads by just using long rectangle shapes..
supposed to cover these in a glaze like mod podge or something but i haven't yet..won't until i'm ready to do a bunch at once.
nice and relaxing last night after my stressful day..no counting..just mindless winding..lol

Those are interesting.

How big are they?

What do you think you are going to do with them?

Well done, very creative. :D
You must show us what you do with them though, so we can see how they look as a necklace etc as well.

What a great way to recycle all those Irritating advertising leaflets. :applesauce: :applesauce:
I've seen plastic carrier bags crocheted into 'useful' items too. More fiddle than I can be bothered with............
BUT your beads are really 8)

I wonder if there's a way to use this basic technique and make beads using scrap pieces of cross stitch fabric.....

This is an old thread, and I know it, but I dare to say those paper beads look very interesting. I dare to say I haven't had courage to try to make them, though.
