Hi. I have never been on a forum before so bare with me. The only cross stitch I have ever done is freebies from magazines but I am currently awaiting a delivery of a birth sampler called Saturday's Child by Historical Sampler Company that I want to stitch for my daughter who is 6 lol! Hope I am welcomed with open arms x

Hello and welcome to the forum from South Carolina! If this is your first forum, you are definitely in for a treat! We love to have new members and many of us have stitched from cross stitch magazine patterns. Some of the prettiest designs are there. We have some members who are designers also and many of their lovely pieces are in the magazines. Stitching from a purchased chart isn't any different, but please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. And post pictures of your progress as you work on the sampler. We love pictures!

I started cross stitching using the cover giveaways many years ago and just progressed from there. I am sure that you will be well able to do the same. Do not be afraid to ask questions - we were all beginners once.
