Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

Hey everybody! My name is Eden and I'm from a small town in Louisiana I'm 20 years old and I'm in college and I'm majoring in finance and art, and I absolutely love it! I learned of this for through a YouTube channel (I would say the channel name but I'm not sure if that's allowed). I've known how to cross stitch for a few years now, but I've just recently really fallen in love with it My mom taught me and she and I cross stitch together every chance we get. Other than her, I don't have any friends or acquaintances that share my lovebfor this kind of thing. I'm hoping to meet and get to know some people through this forum that share this fabulous hobby with me!

Hello from Colorado and welcome to the forum. You must be busy with school - do you get much time to sttich? And what types of designs to you like? I hope you'll stick around here and share pictures of your work. And how fun to be able to stitch with your mom. This forum has been a wonderful find for me as none of my friends stitch. Well, I should rephrase that, because I've made a lot of friends here so I guess I have lots of stitchy friends after all.

I have family in Louisiana - I've been to visit a few times and like it there...but not the humidity. Ugh! I guess you get used to it, but coming from dry Colorado, it's rough.

To answer your questions @fccs, I don't really get much time to stitch at all :'( I find myself staring at my cross stitch stuff pretty often, wishing I could take the time to work on it! In regard to what designs I like, I love so many different things that I can't say I have a set style. I can say that I LOVE country cottage needleworks!!!! I also really like the dimensions kits! They're so beautiful!! I'd would love to hear of some of y'alls favorite designers so I can expand a little
