Thank you all for your lovely comments. A good idea about putting a spider in. Not much activity in bottom right so thought I could add spider either hanging in middle of the handle or from bottom of handle , also add a small ladybird bottom right corner. Thought spider ought to be hanging from a single thread as other creatures are all flying ones & spiders swing on their silken threads so really they fly through the air in their own way, without wings

Thank you. Today's update. Will start backstitching outer edge next & bottom of top border down the single stitch edge of panel. Also add antennae to the butterfly. Then practise my French knots as these insects & the rose of the watering can do not need Welsh whirls
Am doing this on scroll frame & put it in a pillow case when not stitching to keep it clean.
