As a newbie I wondered whether people update their posts regarding wanting things. There are so many new people recently that sure it may help to re-new requests.

Yes, I think this thread is updated. If you are interested in something another member wants to re-home (!), just go right ahead and pm them.

Good point though: updates are important to avoid disappointing our pals here on the forum. (*slopes off to make sure her list is ok...*)

most things up for rehome are either snatched within the first few posts anyway so if your interested in something check the first few posts if you're unsure if it's still up.

I was thinking more along the lines of the people who have requested things in the past with no success as there are a whole load of new people who may be able to fullfil their wish list for them.

I'm not sure, I believe they mention in post but I'm not sure if they actually update the start of the thread.
