Hello! New to this site...

...I have a very noob question to ask. Can new members send PM's? I can't seem to find a way to do it, and I just joined today to request a pattern from another member. If new people can't send PM's, how long do we have to wait until we are able to? Or is it done by post counts, etc? Thank you!
Hi Nessicakes and Welcome from me in chilly Brisbane. If you look at the very top of your screen click on "Check New Messages" and it will lead you to where you can send a PM. After you click "Send" then scroll down to where it appears a 2nd time and click "Send" again . Check in the 'Outbox' on the left to make sure it has a message in it.
