Hello

Greetings from Minnesota. I made it through yet another long winter by picking up some old stitching projects I had abandoned. I have been looking for an out of print chart of Dimensions "Frisky Friends Tree Skirt." I found a kit on ebay but they are selling it for $225 dollars, which is out of my range. Any ideas about where to find this chart? I'd happily pay for it or trade one of my own charts.

Thank you!
Deb

 Hi Deb and Welcome from me too in blessedly cool Brisbane -so glad you have joined us.

Now that tree skirt design sounds familiar which means it has either been done by someone on this forum or its been in an English cross stitch magazine at some time in the past. Beyond that sorry I can't help but I hope you find it as it sounds like a really great one. Did it have a squirrel in it?

Hello and welcome.
I also recall that tree skirt being stitched. Maybe search for an old thread that mentions it?
Good luck finding it.

Welcome from the West of Scotland!

Such a cute tree skirt -- I can see why you would like it. I did a quick search, too, and everywhere is sold out. I can only suggest contacting Dimensions and seeing if they either have something gathering dust or might be willing to reissue it. After all, if it is commanding such a high price on eBay, it's clear that folk would buy it at a more reasonable price.

Thanks for the welcomes! I have to say that while sharing the love of cross stitch is fun, it is more fun connecting with people across the globe! I look forward to learning how to use this forum more. I am currently working on a Thomas Kincade kit Perfect Ending to a Perfect day. I dug it out half finished and am excited to get it done because I think it will look good in our kitchen. I'll look at the directions for posting pictures at some point to share it.

I am also going to try contacting Dimensions-great suggestion.

Hello from Sydney! We are just coming out of a long hot, humid summer so we are happy for different reasons.

Lots of afternoons out of the sun stitching here as well.
