Hello. My name is Lynne from Kent (UK). I have been stitching for more than 20 years (how time flies!). I like to do large projects but having said that over the past couple of years i have been going through my stash of cards that i found when having a sort out while moving house. Having now finished them (thankfully) I am now in large project mode again and on the hunt for something that inspires me! Line Dancing is my other pastime.

 Hi Lynn! Welcome to the forum from South Carolina! I also like to stitch large projects (throwing a few smaller ones in now and then) as you can tell by my way too long list of WIPs in my signature. Any particular subjects that you like to stitch? Looking forward to seeing what you choose. We love pictures!

Carole

Hi Lynne and a belated WELCOME from me in warmish Brisbane. I do stitch large projects but lately I have been enjoying some of the smaller kits which have been lying around in my stash.

Welcome from a soggy North Kent...

What sort of think inspires you? There is a lot of mention here of Heaven & Earth Designs (HaED http://heavenandearthdesigns.com/) who do fairly complex contemporary style images, and then there is Scarlet Quince http://www.scarletquince.com/index.php & Golden Kite http://www.goldenkite.com/index.php/ to do conversions of more traditional paintings at varying levels of complexity. And, when feeling really brave, you can do your own conversions of your own pictures or ones you have permission to convert, and then the sky's the limit in terms of size, complexity & content.

We would love to see photos of your work.

Regards,

Richard
