This has been on the frame for ages. I dusted it off and stitched the wall, small fence and grass on a Stitch Day recently.

Wonderful!!! I love all those textures and different stitches!

One of these days I must get one of those designs .....preferably finished by 'someone else'

Actually I'd love to do one, but I can't see it happening somehow!

Ooohh, this I just so lovely. Such nice stitching & a beautiful scenic picture. I've often looked at the Rowandean items & been tempted but never got round to ordering one. Looking forward to seeing it finished

I like the chunky autumnal tree, what thread did you use for that?

Love this design and you've done so much and so lovely.

I have a Rowandean in my stash somewhere. I've had it for many years and have never actually put in the first stitch but I live in hope.

Thank you all for the lovely comments, keeps me motivated to keep stitching. When I'm working on this it grows quickly, but it's just big and not really a sit on the sofa lap piece. My Mum has done the same picture, it's been finished and framed for a few years now. I should confess that I've owned mine for longer than her!

Mabel - the tree yarn is a chunky, slubby, multicoloured one, then couched in place with a thinner, different coloured yarn. Hope that makes sense x

Absolutely fantastic!! I am awestruck by the number of what look to me like hundreds of perfect French knots on the trees! Can't wait to see more!

As of yesterday afternoon, I have finished my embroidery. Yippee! I'm very happy

Love it. an amazing picture. Well done for all the creative stitches you have used. I've not seen one actually stitched before but this looks much better than picture on the pack. You should be very pleased with yourself.
