30th Wedding Anniversary

It is my mum and dad's 30th wedding anniversary in November and I've been thinking now about doing them an anniversary sampler. I have looked in ebay and around various websites but can't find anything suitable. My mum and dad were married young, they aren't even 50 yet so feel all the 30th (Pearl) wedding anniversary samplers are too old looking or too flowery. I did find a rennie mackintosh one which I really like that I can add names and dates to. Does anyone know where I can find a modern looking anniversary sampler please?

Denise,

I had a look at my collection and all my anniversary ones seem to be for 25 or 50 and they are full of golds and silvers. With lots of lace and flowers none seem good for a young 30th couple. Sorry hope you have better luck with the others on the board. Did you look at Stoney Creek kits some times they are nice for this type of thing.

I will look in my patterns to see what I have. I do know I have 25 and 50th wedding anniversary. If I find something I will let you know.

I don't actually know if this link will work, as you might have to sign up for DMC club to see it (as I'm a member, it shows for me)...

It's a really adorable piccie of two teddies having a sip of champagne with tophat and bridal veil on! You could personalise it, with adding the date they got married and the anniversary date on it - and hey presto - all done! lol!
