Is Richard in the house?

I suspect you don't follow this blog http://opusanglicanum.wordpress.com" target="_blank, but you might just pop in, on the off chance that you can give some advice on the grooming of Maine Coon Cats! Branston (for that is the cat's name) has tummy dreadlocks and, of course, can't stand to be groomed. I don't suppose you can add much (chloroform? catnip? a lump hammer?), but support during a difficult time! Her plight is revealed towards the end of the blog entry.

Quite apart from the fact that it's an excellent blog presented by Tanya Bentham, a lady who is well and truly talented. I'd like to have her and Mabel around a table one day at the Stash & Grab!

A call to arms, Richard! Give what aid you can (even it if it only band aid...)

Serinde, thank you for pointing me to yet another temptation!

Hmm. "Current Courses" takes you to the offerings for 2016....

Edited:
And "My Shop" goes to an expired domain name :-(

I know, Mabel. Frustrating! There's a reason for all that, some kerfuffle with the domain or something? But she's involved in a 3-year course hosted at the Ashmolean and I believe that if you can dig out the stitch-alongs (last Christmas there was a rather splendid dragon) she will still supply the yarn and etc. for them. But how to get directly in touch, but this might help?

He is now...
Had a nightmare yesterday. Going on leave, so naturally a deluge came at work. Got 3 of the 5 drawings required out by working late yesterday, but 2 I have no hope of doing before 12 noon today, so they'll just have to be left undone. C'est La Vie.

I know the problem with non-docile Maine Coon's. Our Rooster (7/8 Maine Coon) loves to be brushed right up to the point he's had enough and half a second later he's shredding your hand. Ozzie, on the other hand, hates being brushed, and won't allow us to on pain of, well, lots of pain. Fortunately he's reasonably felt free at the moment. We occasionally have to use scissors on him when really he's tired, as that's the safest time. He's really terrible when he's had a sloppy bottom and it's all got in his fur - he won't wash it out (who can blame him?), and we can't wash him or get scissors near his rear end.

Regards,

Richard.

Oh,
And that work is stunning in the blog. As usual I got diverted by the cat story.

Regards,

Richard

Well I'm definitely following this blog now. And I'm in stitches (ha!) over her description of the Norman frock 12th dress! Probably my favorite part being "The bias strip of claret silk around the hem is perhaps not entirely authentic, but I have enough practical experience to know that some careless sod will inevitably stand on the hem."
