My BF who lives in New Brunswick had a heart attack yesterday. Fortunately it was a mild one and she is ok. Keeping her in overnight an doing more tests. I don’t like surprises like this. First my brother now my best friend. And they are all younger than me. Lord I worry enough when everything is ok, And if there is nothing to worry about, I worry about that. I am my mother’s daughter. She worried about everything too. Well at least she has her laptop any we can chat on messenger when she has no visitors. Ok world, nothing else please.
Update. She is going to be in hospital for a week or so until her enzymes ( the ones that indicate problems) stabilize. She is being transferred to the heart hospital in St. John to do more specialized tests, on Monday, then back to the current hospital.

I'm so sorry you've had more bad news, and sorry for your friend that she has to be going through this. Wishing you peace of mind, and that both you and she may enjoy your chatting time.
As for the worrying - if you're a worrier it doesn't help if other people helpfully point out that it'll probably never happen, or chances are small, or it never happened before... if you're a worrier, you worry

. But perhaps having some stitching to take your mind off things (and those chats of course) may help?

I couldn't say it any better. Especially the part about being a worrier. That's when I find that watching science fiction or superhero or mystery movies help. While stitching of course.
Hope your friend gets better soon.

Oh, Linda, I am very sorry to hear that your friend had to go through this scary time. Of course, you would worry about your BF but now, she is in the best hands. The worrying bit is before being diagnosed and far away from professional care. She is lucky to have you as a friend, who she can talk to. I am thinking of you both.

My thought are also with you.
I know how you feel as my D/H had a mild heart attack 18 months ago and had to have a stent inserted after a week in hospital.

that your B/F will recover as well as he has!

So sorry to hear this but a least it was a mild one and she is in the best place. I know what it is like to be a worrier. I am just the same, not a good feeling. Take care and my thoughts are with you and your best friend
