Why do I have to log in every time I get on the board. There is a button to keep me logged in but it’s not working. Anyone else with this problem?

I haven't had this problem, mostly because I can't actually click on the 'remember me' button fast enough before it logs me in. Guess maybe it does remember me...? My name comes up, I click on it, it puts in my password and into the forum I come. How do you log on?

If you use more than one machine, using the other machine automatically logs out the the first. Have you started using a tablet or phone as well as a normal computer? That might do it.

only happens to me with the iPad not with my computer. I go back and forth between the two a lot as typing is easier on the computer. I can't ever remember being logged out of the forum on my computer (unless I actually log out). Pretty regularly with the iPad.

Not sure why that happens - I only access the forum on the computer, and there it just takes me straight into the forum when I click on my bookmark.

I have had other sites where I have to log in occasionally, and then the first login never works, but the second one, which is identical, does
I put it down to computers being b****y-minded

The only time I use my computer is to post pics on here because I don’t know how to post them from my IPad, which I use exclusively. So it seems to be an iPad issue.

It’s been happening to me since the forum returned. It’s annoying.

No problem on my desktop or my Moto phone but I have to enter my details on my Samsung galaxy. Not really a big problem to me but I can see that it can be a wee bit annoying if you're desparate to log in and catch up

Now it’s doing it twice. I log in , then have to do it again. Says it’s not the correct info then prompt to fill the log in again. My p/w is on auto fill so input it again then it works. With the auto fill it’s not a problem but now twice? Weird.

That's exactly what I get when logging in to my Wordpress dashboard (for my blog); I asked on the WP forums and one person said it might be plug-ins (although I have no new ones installed) but that was the only reply I got. It seems to be One Of Those Things...

Well I guess it’s like all of us, strange quirks and foibles. Just have to enjoy it still being here.
