Here’s my first little guy of 2020. I had hoped to finish him for Christmas, but didn’t. I still have to finish trimming the paper, and then add a hanger and the backing. He’s for my son and d-i-l to commemorate their trip to Scotland in spring 2019.
This is Scotland Santa by Mill Hill.

He's great, such a fun design with those beads and the facial hair - you're a very clever stitcher to get that to look so good!

Thanks. I was somewhat fearful of the beard but it was really pretty easy.

Scotland Santa has been trimmed and backed and has a beaded hanger. I’m going to leave him on my kids’ mantle...I wonder how long before they notice him.

He is lovely! So much work has clearly gone into him. I love him, especially his beard.

Well that depends on how often they Dust the Mantle!!
I wouldn't notice for quite a few days as Housework is not on my priority agenda!!
Also depends on how crowded with stuff their mantle is. Mine has hardly any room with I think mostly cat figurines and carvings etc so I'm not sure I would notice anything new right away

except that Santa is sooooo good it would be very hard to miss!

Wendy, you have taken the words from my mouth. I could find a present a month later (if ever).
And yes, this Santa looks great.
