It's been a good while since I have posted any updates on my stitching, been so much going on, but at long last I am going to post a couple here.
First is one that was gifted to me from Debby--thank you so much!! I am nowhere near finished but I wanted to share my progress. I switched out the 14 count aida for a 36 or 40 count linen and love how it's looking already--pardon the wrinkles, but I needed to move the qsnaps and thought this would be a great time to take a progress photo
Next is one that is completed, but not yet finished as it's intended bell pull--Bucilla Flowers, Birds & Butterflies again I switched out the fabric that came in the kit from a white aida to a really pretty hand dyed blue aida--here it is completed

and here it the photo from the kit packaging

Gorgeous! You have such a good eye for changing the fabrics. The blue really sets off the flowers wonderfully.

These are really beautiful!!! Serinde is so right when she said you have a really good ability as to picking the right fabric for a project. The eagle is awesome on the linen

and the blue is perfect for the bell pull!

Thank you for all of the feedback!! I should have another update on my eagle soon--Love stitching on it, but it does do the eyes in, so many shades of gray and white!!

Thanks for all of the replies!!! Just moved the qsnaps again and it's coming along slowly but surely. Here is how the Eagle Flag is now looking
Doesn't seem like much but it's at least progress!!

Coming on really nicely.
The confetti in the eagle's feathers must be quite difficult.

Richard.

One of the most difficult birds I ever stitched was the Bald Eagle because of the number colors and the confetti that seemed like 90% of the stitching. You are doing a beautiful job and this is a perfectly beautiful design!
